






The manufacturing process for thrust tapered roller bearings is centered around “high axial load capacity + precise tapered surface fit.” Highly fatigue-resistant bearing steel is selected and vacuum-refined to remove impurities, ensuring matrix strength, toughness, and microstructure uniformity. The tapered raceways of the shaft and housing washers are precision-machined using five-axis CNC grinding machines, achieving a taper tolerance of ±5° and a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.1 μm. They undergo full quenching and tempering followed by cryogenic treatment to prevent dimensional deformation under heavy loads.
Roller machining requires multiple precision steps: cold heading to establish the tapered surface foundation, precision grinding to ensure precise fit with the raceway, and super-lapping of the end faces to achieve parallelism ≤ 0.001 mm. The cage is stamped or milled from steel plate, with precisely machined pockets to secure the rollers and prevent misalignment during operation.
Assembly is completed in a Class 1,000 clean workshop, and the axial clearance is adjusted by special tooling to ensure uniform contact of the conical surfaces. The finished product must pass axial static load testing, rotational wear verification, and precision testing and ultimately adapt to large axial load scenarios such as heavy machinery and machine tool spindles to achieve stable transmission with “high load capacity and anti-eccentric load.”
